Day 9 – Hungering for God's Word

May 15 to June 5th

Dear Bella Vista Church Family,



Today is Day 9 of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, and we turn our attention to the Word of God. In a world filled with noise and distraction, God is still speaking—through His Word, His Spirit, and His truth. The question is: are we listening, and are we hungry to hear?



Just as our bodies need food, our souls desperately need the nourishment of Scripture. When we quiet ourselves, open our Bibles, and lean in with expectation, we encounter the living voice of God.



Today’s Focus: Hungering for God’s Word



Key Verse:“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”— Matthew 4:4

Prayer:Let Your Word be my daily bread. Speak, Lord—I am listening.



Today, take time to not just read the Bible, but to feed on it. Ask the Lord to stir up a fresh hunger in your heart—a longing to hear Him, understand Him, and walk in His ways. Even one verse can nourish the spirit when it’s received with a listening heart.



Thank you for continuing to walk in step with the Spirit. Let’s grow deeper in our hunger for God and His Word.
