DAY 21 OF PRAYER AND FASTING

Day 21 – Commissioned for His Purpose

May 15 to June 5th

Dear Bella Vista Church Family,

We’ve arrived at Day 21 of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting—and what a journey it has been! Through humility, repentance, surrender, boldness, and rest, God has drawn us near and deepened our faith. And now, on this final day, He calls us to go.

We are not just saved from something—we are saved for something. Jesus’ Great Commission is not a suggestion; it’s a call to action. We are sent—into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, and the nations—to make disciples and carry the presence and power of Jesus into a world that desperately needs Him.

Today’s Focus: Commissioned for His Purpose

Key Verse:

“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them... and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”

— Matthew 28:18–20

Suggested Reading:

Matthew 28; Proverbs 9:10; Proverbs 1:7

Prayer:

Here I am, Lord—send me. Use my life for Your glory and mission. Help me to be quick to obey Your leading, trusting that Your timing is perfect and Your Word is true. Lead us in Your ways, not our own. Help keep us in awe and reverence to You so that we will be led by Your wisdom. In Jesus’s Mighty Name.

Today is a celebration, but it’s also a commissioning. You’ve spent 21 days in focused prayer and surrender. Now step forward—empowered, filled, and sent. Your life is part of His plan to reach the world. Let’s go boldly, together, in His name.

Serving Jesus with you,

Pastor Timothy Anderson
