Day 18 – Breaking Strongholds

Dear Bella Vista Church Family,



Today is Day 18 of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. As we continue this journey together, we take authority in prayer to confront and tear down strongholds—those spiritual, mental, and emotional barriers that keep people from experiencing the freedom of Christ.



God has given us powerful weapons—not worldly ones, but spiritual ones. In His name, we can break through lies, fear, addiction, pride, and anything else that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.



Today’s Focus: Breaking Strongholds

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Prayer:

In Jesus’ name, tear down every stronghold of fear, addiction, and pride.



Today, take a bold step in prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal strongholds in your life or in those you love—and then speak truth over them. Declare freedom. Declare healing. Declare victory in Jesus’ name. God’s power is greater than anything that opposes His purpose in you.
